Brooklyn Bridge Park Offers Ecology Programs For Teens

BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK – Youths with a passion for the environment may be interested in the Brooklyn Bridge Park’s ecology program for students ages 14-18. TIDES (Teens Interested in and Dedicated to Environmental Stewardship). TIDES brings students from around the city to complete weekly community service projects that focus on ecology, conservation, and sustainability, as part of an 8-10 week program in Brooklyn Bridge Park’s unique waterfront environment. The application deadline is Friday, March 24.

The Spring 2023 program, which runs on Wednesdays from April 21-June 19 is ideal for high school students with an existing or budding interest in the environment who are looking for new experiences, and are ready to learn new skills. No experience in stewardship or environmental projects needed to apply.
